Focus T25, Day 3: Double Your Pleasure

Day 3: slept like a rock again. All that Shakeology energy just needed an outlet, and Focus T25 fit the bill.

My eating patterns held. Under 1400 calories, fit in the Shakeology, I ignored the now-weeping pastry chef downstairs who had relied on my sweet tooth to put his kids through private school.

Decided to hit the pool again for the third workout, full-body circuit; it worked so well the day before. Several of the moves were either partly or completely undoable in the pool, but I made do.  Here, at the end of the workout, which would have wiped me out on land, I thought, “hmmm. I need more.” So I went back to Day 1 (Cardio) and did that after a few minutes of catching my breath.

Alpha Cardio was still brutal. But in the pool, it was doable. I could ignore Tanya most of the time and do the full jumping jacks, flying lunges, etc. (awkwardly, with the jiggling squats.) It was, if anything, harder than Speed 1.0 the day before, but it was doable, and at the end of it I felt…mighty. I wanted to find someone to high-five, like those skinny jerks hanging with Shaun T.

“Walking” back to the car was an adventure. But man, every wobbly step was a reminder of my butt-clenching “T50” workout.

And yeah…I slept like a log.
